My recent dabbling with instagram is hardly high-art, but it seems to amuse my constant need for aesthetic. I don’t know if the concept is brilliant or disastrous. On one hand it brings the otherwise inaccessible art world back down to earth. On the other hand it may cheapen peoples previously accepted “value” of real art. After all, if they can craft an aesthetic image with a single tap who is going to pay $300 for a framed print of the statue of liberty?
