Watched a documentary on body modification the other night. I was not sure if they were promoting the “subculture” or just spreading awareness. I knew people shoved hooks through their flesh and hung suspended from them, but I did not know that people voluntarily cut their penis in half. I was especially surprised that they could do what seemed like a dangerous surgery in a typical tattoo/piercing shop. One would assume that most people would be put off by watching someone cut a hole in their own dick (and then shoving a chunk of metal inside the slit) but the documentary stayed impartial. I still do not know what they were getting at…I guess they’re recruiting?
